Q. How many bikes have you totaled in the making of each video?
A. None. I have never wrecked my bikes bad enough that I could not fix them. The main reason is that I have crash bars to help minimize the damage.
Q. Who does most of your work to your bikes?
A. I do all of the work myself. I own stunt bikes, not show bikes, so they may not always look the prettiest but they are almost always in good working order.
Q. How many insurance claims have you made on your bikes?
A. I have never made any claims, if my bike gets wrecked it is my own responsibility. There are a few ignorant people that will say I am the cause for high insurance rates, this is not true in any way.
Q. Are you asking to get hurt, why don't you wear helmets all the time?
A. I always wear a helmet and body armor when trying new tricks or anything highspeed. I don't want to get hurt anymore than you do. So far I have had no broken bones or any serious injuries.
Q. What is the worst crash you have ever had?
A. I flipped a highchair stoppie. My shoulder was crushed between the gas tank and the ground. If you look on the cover of Not Guilty the smaller dent at the back of the tank is from my shoulder. No camera for that one either.
Q. Living in Wisconsin must be cold all year, you must have a short riding season.
A. My riding season is usually from April to November. Yes, I hate winter.
Q. Where do you usually ride?
A. Wherever there are no cops and no snow. I practice and learn everything on tracks, dead end roads and parking lots. Its safer, I get far less tickets and I get the most hours of practice this way. I film shots for the DVDs wherever, highways or any other road. I am especially carefull in traffic, I never try anything new and I don't ride over my skill level.
Q. Is it legal for you to stunt on roads and have you had many tickets?
A. No it is not legal for me to stunt on public roads, but I do what has to be done to make my videos entertaining and keep raising my skill. I have had over 80 tickets since the age of 16 and almost $10,000 grand in fines. I take every ticket to court and usually do well. We have had only a few licence suspensions. In the last few years I have had few tickets.
Q. Do you learn tricks on a dirtbike first and then on your streetbike?
A. No, everything is practiced and learned on my stunt bike. This is why my videos have so many funny crashes.
Q. Did you ever road race?
A. Yes, I raced CCS for one year. It was a very expensive sport that fined you for doing wheelies...Not Good.
Q. Have you ever been able to travel because of d-Aces?
A. Yes, I have performed in Guatemala five times, Jamaica once and all over the US.
